Dorothy has completed training which will enable us to deliver equality training to care providers locally.

We are facilitating agencies to have greater awareness of the diversity of our community; that we may well have faced challenges in our lives which means that we expect organisations, particularly those that provide care, to treat us with respect as individuals taking into account our life histories, life situations, individual needs and wishes.

Dorothy’s work will further explore the care needs of our community and we will be involved in research which provides robust data about the needs of our community. We are all Council Tax payers entitled to receive an equal good quality service, as well as understand the pressures that the Care providers have been under, particularly in more recent years.
