Calderdale Friends of Dorothy TimeBank

Dorothy’s has put in place a time banking arrangement where members can exchange services based on time input rather than money. For example, if you help someone by mowing their lawn or doing their shopping you earn credit for your time which you can spend by receiving an hour (or whatever time you spent) of someone else’s time.

Our time banking licence is supported by Todmorden Town Council. It is easy to get involved and you can register with just your mobile number and email address. Email cfodbroker@gmail.com or text or voicemail 07568 1577290 for details.

Our time banking directory will be updated monthly and new offers and requests can be added or old ones removed by contacting the brokers. It is useful to add the number of hours offered or that you think will be needed when making an offer or request.

We think this is a great way for people to offer their skills or services within our membership – saving money for people but also introducing them to other members who would like to make a contribution to others.
