Dorothy initially met with Calderdale Community Land Trust (CLT) which provided us with much support, information and advice around housing issues. CLT have continued to assist Dorothy in many aspects of her development.

CLT signposted Dorothy to Calderdale MBC’s Strategic Head of Housing (Heidi Wilson) and her team. This has proved enormously useful and has developed our thinking about housing and all its possibilities.

This led Dorothy to meet with a local housing provider, Together Housing, to explore how we could work together and which we hope may lead to many possible positive outcomes.

Dorothy has also met with other housing agencies & projects, including co-operatives via “Radical Routes” and we have become a member of “Locality”, a national umbrella group for community led housing initiatives.

Dorothy’s research project will also explore the housing needs of our community and we await the data before we venture further.
